Spravato (Esketamine) is an FDA-approved prescription nasal spray, used in conjunction with an oral antidepressant, to treat adults with Treatment-Resistant Depression (TRD) or depressive symptoms in adults with Major Depressive Disorder (MDD) who have acute suicidal ideation. It acts on the glutamate pathway to rapidly alleviate symptoms, often within 24 hours.
